PROJECT: BUDGETING

Our household operates on one income at the moment so monthly budgeting is a crucial part of managing our finances.

We try to find a good balance of buying what we need & only buying what we want if we think it will be used & is reasonably priced. This sometimes means waiting for the sales & using layby.

I have also found that having a spending limit really helps in making sure unnecessary items don't make it into the house & each purchase is carefully thought about.
